My name is Kormesiy. I was born on the island of Sumatra. Sumatra (also spelled Sumatera) is an island in western Indonesia, westernmost of the Sunda Islands. It is the largest island entirely in Indonesia (two larger islands, Borneo and New Guinea, are shared between Indonesia and other countries), and the sixth largest island in the world (approximately 470,000 km ²). Excuse me, that will speak to you on the Asian-African-American Language, but in the jungle that language is not used often.
I want to share something with you and tell you some stories about a strange and wonderful country, which I discovered while I am looking for a place for resettlement, where you can move to live freely and peacefully. I think I found this side and all My family will move there because in my country almost cut down trees in the jungle where I lived. People are very greedy and destroy all of nature.
Sumatra supports a wide range of vegetation types which are home to a rich variety of species, including 17 endemic genera of plants. Unique species include: Sumatran Pine, Rafflesia arnoldii (world's largest individual flower), Titan arum (world's tallest and largest inflorescence flower).
The island is home to 201 mammal species and 580 bird species. There are 9 endemic mammal species on mainland Sumatra and 14 more endemic to the nearby Mentawai Islands. The species present include: Sumatran Tiger, Sumatran Orangutan (that's me), Sumatran Rhinoceros, Sumatran Elephant, Sumatran Striped Rabbit, Dhole, Dayak Fruit Bat, Malayan Tapir, Malayan Sun Bear and the Bornean Clouded Leopard.
The island has lost 50% of its natural forest cover since 1985, and many of the remaining species are endangered. The Sumatran Tiger, Sumatran Rhino, and Sumatran Orangutan are all Critically Endangered, indicating that the highest level of threat to their survival.
In this site I will try to present you at least a small part of the wonders of that country, which soon discovered. I know that few people know about its existence.
